Through an estate gift provided by Gertie Marx, MD, a pioneer in obstetric anesthesiology, the Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research provides grant funding to SOAP. FAER and SOAP partner to sponsor the biennial FAER/SOAP Gertie Marx lecture at the American Society of Anesthesiology annual meeting.
