The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at UMass Memorial Medical Center, the clinical partner of UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester, MA, is looking for a Obstetric Anesthesiologist to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to be engaged in the full spectrum of cases cared for in an academic medical center and Level 1 Trauma Center.

•Attractive Case Mix with regular assignment to dedicated Acute Pain Service.
•Dedicated Acute Pain Service model established at our University, and Memorial Campus locations.
•Additional opportunities to practice Regional Anesthesia are offered at our two Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
•Case mix includes general, minimally invasive, bariatric, orthopedic (including trauma, spine and joint. replacement), thoracic, vascular, neurosurgical, ENT, hepatobiliary, urology, IVF and GYN.
•In addition, we cover the full spectrum of services in non-OR locations, including vascular and neuro IR, a busy heart and vascular interventional lab, and anesthesia for GI services.
•Opportunity to join the obstetric anesthesia team in our Labor and Delivery unit (5,000 deliveries per year).
•Practice in the anesthesia care team model supervising CRNAs and our Residents in our fully integrated, outstanding training program.
•We offer opportunities to participate in education and medical simulation, QI work, and research.
•The anesthesia team conducts an average of 60,000 anesthetics per year across all sites we cover.

The Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston seeks experienced Obstetric Anesthesiologists to join our thriving academic department. The 675,000-square-foot Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital and Pearl Tourville Women’s Pavilion opened in 2020 and houses obstetric services. The Obstetric unit with its associated MFM program conducts 3,500 deliveries per year including high-risk parturients.

Position requirements: 

• American Board of Anesthesiology Certified or Board Eligible is required.
• An obstetric anesthesiology fellow or extensive experience in OB anesthesia is required. 
• Additional advanced training or experience beyond fellowship is welcome but not required.

Brief Description:

Texas Children’s hospital in North Austin is seeking an early to mid career OB anesthesiologist to join their faculty group starting summer to late fall 2024. You would be joining a team of fellowship trained OB anesthesiologists to care for the women of North Austin at a brand new facility that opened in February 2024. The hospital is anticipating 400 deliveries a year with plans to expand and has a Level 4 NICU. In addition there are Gynecological laparoscopic surgeries (outpatient). Texas Children’s prides itself on its robust fetal surgery program which too has branched out to Austin with full time fetal surgeons. The scope of practice will include anesthesia for fetal interventions and surgery, labor & delivery and gynecological surgery.
