The Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston seeks experienced Obstetric Anesthesiologists to join our thriving academic department. The 675,000-square-foot Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital and Pearl Tourville Women’s Pavilion opened in 2020 and houses obstetric services. The Obstetric unit with its associated MFM program conducts 3,500 deliveries per year including high-risk parturients.
Position requirements:
- American Board of Anesthesiology Certified or Board Eligible is required.

Texas Children’s hospital in North Austin is seeking an early to mid career OB anesthesiologist to join their faculty group starting summer to late fall 2024. You would be joining a team of fellowship trained OB anesthesiologists to care for the women of North Austin at a brand new facility that opened in February 2024. The hospital is anticipating 400 deliveries a year with plans to expand and has a Level 4 NICU. In addition there are Gynecological laparoscopic surgeries (outpatient). Texas Children’s prides itself on its robust fetal surgery program which too has branched out to Austin with full time fetal surgeons. The scope of practice will include anesthesia for fetal interventions and surgery, labor & delivery and gynecological surgery.
