SOAP Fundamentals Virtual Event September 14 & 21, 2024
SOAP Fundamentals, is in its second year, is a program designed for under-resourced areas. These are often times rural or areas that do not have an obstetric anesthesiologist on staff. The virtual meeting will featured high quality sessions and expert faculty.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Research indicates that there are areas in the United States where access to obstetric anesthesia care is limited or unavailable, despite economic resources. In these areas, the healthcare team may be comprised of obstetricians, family physicians, anesthesiologists, CRNAs, AAs, and other medical professionals who are not formally trained in OB Anesthesia.
SOAP Fundamentals was designed to enhance the knowledge base of these healthcare teams in an effort to fulfill SOAP's mission of advancing and advocating for the health of pregnant women and their babies through research, education, and best practices in obstetric anesthesia care.
